Mr Cihan (Chris) Aciyan:
Whilst studying my law degree and working part time with a large estate agent, it became evident to me that many estate agents did not offer expert knowledge in the industry and they cared more about money than service and simply did a lot of things wrong. I knew with my passion, my legal background and hard work we could form an estate agent with a difference, so this is what we did. An agency that cares and protects its client’s interest, and one that makes the whole process a lot simpler. I know due to having a family and children myself, that the hassle and stress of the property world can weigh heavy on your shoulders and/or take too much of your time. Because of this we introduced our business accompanied by an online feature that streamlines all your property updates into one portal, giving you all the information you need in a few clicks so that we could focus on dealing and resolving all the hassle involved, and so that our clients can focus on what is important in life.
Our charity arm is also very important to everything we do as this is one of our core policies to give back to our community and the world around us. We have already supported our Mayor of Enfield in her charity campaign ‘Enfield Cares’, Enfield Town Football Club, Southgate School and Forty Hill Primary School to name a few. Everything from donating money, fundraising and putting ourselves through difficult assault courses (The Tough Mudder).
Being born at Chase Farm Hospital, Studying in Enfield and living all my years in Enfield. It is important for me that we began our journey in Enfield. Now our office being a short walk from my place of birth, it fills me with pride to be a part of Cottage Fields.
Department: Everything Cottage Fields
Mr Kurt Aciyan:
After being born at Chase Farm hospital in Enfield and living my childhood in Enfield, I moved to Leicester with my wife where we started a family and I had a very successful career in Sales. I moved back to Enfield in 2012 to join my brother in establishing Cottage Fields, whilst continuing to run my own furniture business from home. After living our childhoods in Enfield, it was the perfect place to start a business in which relied so heavily on local knowledge, and due to my background in Sales, it seemed the perfect fit with my professionalism and charismatic personality.
This business represents so much more than a job to me, as being a part of this with my brother means Cottage Fields is invaluable to us, representing our professionalism, charisma and passion. We believe will instil in Cottage Fields the highest standards and level of service on offer in the property market and because of that I am proud to be a part of it.
Mrs Maria Aciyan:
Before Cottage Fields my background came from Psychology and HR. After gaining my first class BSc in Psychology I went on to work within Human Resources in psychiatric and residential care services, managing their HR department as well as assisting in the development of treatment plans within their psychiatric and care multidisciplinary team. In 2012 I left to join Cottage Fields in its humble beginnings, working alongside my husband Cihan, brother in law, and colleague Ilshad from an outbuilding in our back garden – no heating, no running water, just determination to work hard and make a difference, meshing our very different backgrounds into a team which would form the foundations of Cottage Fields. It still amazes me to see how far we have come and fast we have grown in such a short space of time, seeing the business grow from strength to strength with now over 10 members of our Cottage Fields Family who are equally as invested in our business and its success. Initially the only person in our management team, I now share the role with 4 fantastic other people which allows me the time to spend with my toddler daughter as well as streamline our roles to ensure we are all working to our strengths.
Mr Ilshad Khodabocus:
Having spent my childhood in Enfield, and gaining a positive start to life through education, I developed a passion to contribute to the community. Alongside my admiration for properties, this inspired me to become an Estate Agent. Since starting Cottage Fields in 2014 as an apprentice, my ever-growing interest in the property industry has lead me to thrive within the business and further develop my career in becoming a senior negotiator. An integral part of joining Cottage Fields was the determination Cihan, the owner, has for giving back to the community which we do through several charities. Throughout my years I have had the opportunity to undertake several tasks and roles if the company having covered sales, lettings and management. I have acquired sounds knowledge across the property spectrum.
Like Kurt, Cottage Fields represents more to me than just a job, as this is my second family and together we are determined to build a better life for one another and for our children.
Ms Leyla Wall:
I grew up in Watford, which is where I attended college and achieved my GNVQ levels 2 and 3 in hairdressing, and went on to work in various different salons and barbers for around 10 years, brushing up on my skills along the way by attending the Alan D hairdressing academy in central London every year. I then tried my hand in the catering/hospitality trade for a while, which at times was very challenging to say the least. Soon after, I met my partner and had my little girl who I adore. After a year off, I decided to take a completely different route and get into the property market as it has always been a passion of mine, and with my background in customer service, and my many years of working with all different types of people, I find myself here at Cottage Fields. My extended family, where I am proud to say I have been for almost a year.
Mrs Gina Faint:
Working from a young age within sales and management in a family run retail buisness, it became evident to me that I had a passion for organisation and a love to communicate with people. After giving birth to my first daughter in 2014 I came to realise that I wanted to work closer to home and to spend more time with my children and build memories. Hence when I was given the opportunity to join the Cottage Fields family and now work within a team who are all wonderful professional individuals, I did not hesitate. My role within the management department is managing the properties and liasing with landlords and tenants and maintaining good healthy relationships. This job is all about working with people, which I absolutely love doing.
Mr Liam Luma:
I joined Cottage Fields as apprentice in 2017. The reason I decided to choose Cottage Fields as the estate agency to work for, were that they were a company which had core values which I also believed in and cared about ethics in the service they provide. They were also very ambitious as am I. Hence when I came back to London from Cyprus (after spending four years there) I joined Cottage Fields. As I am intrigued by properties and land, especially the process of building homes from scratch. I also enjoy football and the occassionaly gaming with friends. I am very committed to continue to improve and learn under the expert tutilidge of the Team at Cottage Fields.
Mr Rasit Surer:
I have been with Cottage Fields since 2016 after a long career in credit control, I wanted a change and always had an interest in the property market. I have always lived between Cyprus and London my whole life. Occasionally travelling the world to Australia, Philippines and America. Making me very easy to talk to and down to earth. I am first aid trained, which is very handy as an father. My role is to carry out Check ins and Check outs, Inspections, references and general maintenance.
Mr Tarik Aciyan:
Living and going to school in Enfield has given me an in depth knowledge of the local area. I began my journey with Cottage Fields in 2014 as I was passionate about properties (as well as football). I started as a lettings negotiator and now work in sales. Whilst working in sales I am also a part time Semi-Pro footballer and have been on the books of QPR, Leyton Orient and Millwall.
Mr Ismaaiil Khodabocus:
I am the designated EPC and Inventory Clerk of Cottage Fields. Properties is one of my passions and this is why I pursued the career and became qualified to carry out EPC’s and Inventories. Studying GCSE’s and A Levels at Kingsmead Secondary School in Enfield, as well as living in Enfield my whole life, it was important for me to join a local agency.
